Deasupra norilor, in avion, toata lumea pare calma, linistita. Unii calatori asculta muzica, altii au adormit deja. Numai eu par sa ma framant. Ma tot intreb – Oare o sa fie bine? Oare vor fi draguti oamenii acolo? Oare ne vom intelege cu totii? Si ce limba vom vorbi? Cum vom putea comunica unul cu altul? Aveam atatea intrebari in minte..

La aterizare, mi-am luat inima in dinti si am pasit in aeroport, putin confuza, cautand din privire grupul AlterEgo. I-am identificat curand. In mai putin de doua minute am facut cunostinta cu unii dintre participanti si cu organizatorii. Nu-mi venea sa cred ca toata lumea era atat de relaxata si vesela!
Pe data am dat uitarii toate grijile..

Calatoria cu autocarul pana la Logumkloster ne-a ajutat sa ne cunoastem mai bine, iar atmosfera de lucru de acolo  ne-a stimulat imaginatia si creativitatea; distractia a fost la superlativ..
Si acum, uitandu-ma inapoi, imi dau seama ca am primit raspunsurile la toate intrebarile mele. Totul a fost exact cum m-am asteptat, ba chiar mai bine.

Iar in ceea ce priveste limba in care am vorbit – fara indoiala, a fost limba prieteniei.

Above the clouds, in the airplane, everybody seems calm and quiet. Some people are listening to music, others are already sleeping. It seems to me like I’m the only one worrying. I keep asking myself – how will it be? Will the others be nice or rather introverted? Will we get along well with each other? And what language will we speak? How will we communicate? I had so many questions on my mind..

After landing, I could easily identify the AlterEgo group. In less than two minutes I had met the organizers and some of the participants. They were all relaxed and cheerful, so I soon put my worries aside.. The trip to Logumkloster gave us the possibility to get to know each other better, and the atmosphere there was amazing, stimulating our imagination and creativity – not to mention all the fun we had.

And now, looking back, I realize I got the answers to all of my questions. Everything was just like I had expected it to be, even better actually. And as far as the language we used is concerned – it was undoubtedly the language of friendship.

J'ai beaucoup aimé être avec les des gens qui ont a peu près mon age ce sont toutes des personnes exeptionnelles!!J'ai adoré travailler avec les acteurs du Performing Arts qui sont génieaux!! Nous avons travaillé sur des exercices de confience et sur notre opposé et sur celui des otres donc meme si nous n'avions pas une idée précise sur notre opposé les autres nous ont aidé et j'ai vraiment beaucoup aimé cet échange d'avis sur notre opposé avec des gens que nous venions de rencontrer.

I liked a lot being with them people who have has little near my age it are all exeptionnelles persons!! I liked working with the actors of the Performing Arts who are génieaux!! We worked on exercises of confience and on our opposite and on that of the otres thus meme if we had no precise idea on our opposite the others helped us and I have really liked a lot this exchange of opinion (notice,notices) on our opposite with people whom we had just met.

A semana que passei na Dinamarca foi uma grande experiência para mim porque estive com jovens de toda a europa, trocamos ideias e culturas mas acima de tudo divertimo-nos muito e todos os organizadores e artistas eram simpacticos e estavam sempre a ajudar-nos. em relação ao workshop de fotografia foi muito divertido, tiramos muitas fotografias e todo o grupo era espectacular.

Todos os que estiveram na dinamarca vão estar para sempre no coração.

The week  in Denmark was a great experience for me because I was with young people from all over Europe, we exchanged ideas and cultures but the most important there was a lots of funa and all the organizers and artists were very friendly and were always helping us. In relation to the photography workshop was very fun,we took many photos and the whole group was amazing.

Az Alter Ego-nak köszönhetően egy hihetetlen hetet tölthettem Dániában. A fotó műhelymunkában való részvétel során  különböző témákat, szögeket és beállításokat próbálgattam. A célom az volt, hogy olyan képeket készítsek, melyek elgondolkodtatják az embereket. A „tanáraink” szabadságot adtak nekünk amellyel mindenki megmutathatta a művészi oldalát, két asztalifoci bajnokság között.

I spent a wonderful week in Denmark thanks to Alter Ego. In the photography workshop I was trying different topics, angles, settings. My goal was to make thought-provoking pictures. Our “teachers” gave us the absolute freedom so we could show our artistic Alter Ego between two table football championships.

Ko sem izvedela, da sem ena izmed dveh zmagovalk natečaja Alterego v Sloveniji, je bila moja sreča nepopisna. Veselila sem se obiska Danske, saj sem o njej slišala in prebrala same pozitivne stvari. Zanimiva se mi je zdela tudi ideja sodelovanja s priznanimi umetniki ter z mladimi zmagovalci iz vse Evrope. Najbolj sem se navdušila nad fotografsko delavnico, saj me fotografiranje zelo veseli, na koncu pa sem po spletu naključij pristala pri instalaciji. Sprva sem bila negotova, in se spraševala, kaj pravzaprav to je. Vsa vprašanja so bila razjasnjena, ko smo začeli z našim delom in nam je naš učitelj Redas Dirzys bolj približal svoje metode dela. Naša prva naloga je bila preprosta: slediti črti. V bistvu nas je nato spremljala še cel teden, samo na različnih površinah in celo v prostoru. Vrhunec je sledil v četrtek, ko smo sredi najbolj pomembnega hodnika postavili barikado, tako da je bil neprehoden. Ta delavnica je bila zelo zanimiva in mi je odprla mnoge nove poglede na življenje. Celotna izkušnja tega projekta je neprecenljiva, gotovo si jo bom zapomnila za celo življenje. Hvaležna sem, da sem lahko sodelovala in vse čestitke organizatorjem za brezhibno izpeljavo.

My happiness was indescribable when I found out that I was one of the two winners of the Alterego Creative Competition in Slovenia. I was looking forward to visiting Denmark, as I had heard and read only positive things about it. I thought the idea of collaborating with some of the greatest artists and young winners from all over the Europe was great. I was especially looking forward to the Photography workshop, as I’m very into photography, but by chance I landed at Installation workshop. At first I was doubtful and I was wondering, what installation actually is. All questions were clarified when we started our work and our instructor Redas Dirzys introduced his methods to us. Our first task was seemingly very simple: to follow the line. It actually accompanied us through the whole week, but only on different surfaces and even in room. The highlight came on Tuesday when we built our barricade in the middle of the most important corridor so that it was impassable. This workshop was very interesting and opened many new views on life to me. The whole experience of the project is priceless and I’m sure I’m going to remember it for my entire life. I’m grateful that I could participate and I congratulate the organizers for the impeccable derivation.

Κατευθύνωντας πηγές έμπνευσης όπως τις ‘πεινασμένες’ γραμμές του Egon Schiele, Αιγυπτιακή τέχνη απο την θρυλικη περίοδο των φαραό και μια ισχυρή δόση φαντασίας και δημιουργηκότητας πάνω στον καμβά. Ο οποίος εχει προηγουμένος περάσει απο μια επίθεση με έντονα στοιχεία αφηρημένης τέχνης, θέτωντας τα θεμέλια για ένα φόντο με αρκετές διακυμάνσεις στην υφή και τους χρωματισμούς. Επιτρέποντας τις γραμμές τις σιλουέτας να αντιθέτοντε και να ξεπροβαδίζουν. Αυτή η διαδικασία οδήγησε στο αποτέλεσμα ενός πινακα παρουσιάζοντας μια εξωτερικά αισθητικά ευχάριστη δίδυμη προσωπικότητα.

Εκτός από την πιθανότητα να φτιάξουμε ένα έργο που εχει την ευκερία να ταξιδέψει στην ευρωπη σε έναν αριθμο εκθέσεων, είχαμε επίσης την ευκερια να μαζευτούμε με άτομα από όλη την ευρώπη, επιτρέποντας μας να ανταλάξουμε ενδοπολιτιστικό διάλογο, που, με την σειρά του μας βοήθησε να διευρύνουμε τους καλλιτεχνικούς μας ορίζοντες. Έχοντας την ευκερία να δουλέψουμε με πραγματικούς καλλιτέχνες μπορούσαμε να καταλάβουμε πως στα αλήθεια είναι η ζωη ενός καλλιτέχνη, βοηθώντας μας να πάρουμε σοφότερες αποφάσεις για το μελλον. Η εμπειρία γενικά ήτανε απίστευτη και πολύ δημιουργική.

I Channelled together inspirational sources such as Egon Schiele’s ‘hungering’ lines, Egyptian art aging from the legendary times of the pharaohs and a heavy load of imagination and creativity upon the canvass. The canvass which has previously gone through an intense abstract orientated ‘attack’ laying the foundations for an intricate and textured background. Allowing for the figures lines to contrast and stand out. Finishing into a procedure which led to a painting featuring an externally aesthetic Gemini persona.

Besides having the chance to create a work of art which gets to travel around Europe in a number of exhibitions, we got the opportunity to get together with people from all around Europe allowing us to exchange intercultural dialogue, which, in its turn aspired and helped broaden our artistic horizons. By having the opportunity to work with real artists we could get an idea of what an artist's life really is like, helping us in turn to make wiser decisions for our future. The experience in general was amazing and very productive."

Alter-ego veckan var en av de bästa veckorna i mitt liv. Jag deltog i Performing arts workshopen. Jag lärde mig mycket nytt, fick nya vänner och fick styrka till mitt vardagliga liv hemma. Skådespelandet, övningarna och improvisationen hjälpte mig att öppna mig. De andra workshopen var också väldigt intressanta och väl planerade. Det skulle ha varit roligt att delta i de andra också, men jag är nöjd med mitt val.
 
Alter-ego viikko oli yksi parhaimmista viikoista elämässäni. Osallistuin Performin arts workshoppiin. Opin paljon uutta, sain uusia ystäviä ja voimaa arkiseen elämääni kotona. Näytteleminen, harjoitukset ja improvisaatio auttoivat minua avautumaan. Muutkin workshopit olivat hyvin kiinnostavia ja hyvin suunniteltuja. Olisi ollut mukavaa osallistua muihinkin workshopeihin, mutta olen tyytyväinen valintaani.

The Alter-ego week was one of the best weeks in my life. I participated in the Performing arts workshop. I learned a lot of things, made new friends and got power to my normal everyday life back home. The performing, the exercises and the improvisation helped me to open up my mind. The other workshops were interesting and well planned as well, but I’m happy with my choice.

Ik heb van iedereens cultuur en talent genoten en geleerd, de sfeer was tof en alleen maar supertoffe mensen leren kennen. wat betreft mijn werk(streetart) ben ik heel blij met mijn nieuwe skills die ik gekregen heb en wat ik gepresteerd heb. Daarvoor wil ik Daniel aka. GrinAid bedanken aangzien hij het ons allemaal geleerd heeft. De alterego week in Denemarken was supertof en het coolste project waar ik ooit aan mee gedaan heb.

I enjoyed and learned from everyones culture and talents. The atmosphere was great and I've got to known a lot of great people.  „Alter ego” projekts ir iespēja sastapt, iepazīties un vērtēt dažādu 22 ES valstu jauniešus ar atsevišķiem dzīvs uzskatiem, ieradumiem, prasmēm. „Alter ego” projekts risinājās Dānijas pilsētā Logumkloster, kas atstāja skaistas, sakoptas un atmiņā paliekošas pilsētas iespaidu.

Spilgti iespaidi bija arī brīdī, kad pirmo reizi sastapos ar projekta uzvarētājiem no citām valstīm. Jaunieši bija atvērti un pretimnākoši. Nākošajās dienās notika dažādas meistardarbnīcas. Es darbojos „Street art” darbnīcā. Interesanta un talantīga pasniedzēja vadībā apguvu  „Street art” tehniku, sapratu atšķirību starp „Street art” un „Grafitti” Darbojoties, katra diena nesa ko jaunu un neaizmirstami. Laiks pavadītais šajās darbnīcās, attēlojās mūsu  darbos. Darba ideju piedāvāja pasniedzējs un mēs izvēlējāmies veidot slavenību portretus. Priecājos, ka šos darbus varēs apskatīt citu valstu jaunieši. Nedēļas laikā es iepazinos ar ļoti interesantiem jauniešiem, ar kuriem arī turpmāk centīšos uzturēt labus sakarus. Jaunieši no tik dažādām valstīm un kultūrām, kļuva mani draugi. Kultūru dažādība ieinteresēja arī turpmāk vēl aktīvāk iepazīt citas valstis, cilvēkus. „Alter ego” projekts ir neaizmirstama pieredze un piedzīvojums manā dzīvē, kas dos labu startu nākotnei un sapņu pilnveidošanai.

'Alter Ego' project is a possibility to meet, learn and assess a different and young people with separation beliefs, habits, skills.  Project 'Alter Ego' happen in Danish city-Logumkloster, which left the beautiful, cleaned up and memory lasting impression city.

Bright impressions were the time when first confronted with a project winners from other countries. Young people were open and friendly .Next days follow different workshops. I have work at 'Street art' workshop. Under the guidance of Interesting and talented teacher, I was learned 'Street art' technology, realized the distinction between 'Street art' and 'Graffiti', each day could bring something new and unforgettable. Time spent at this depicting the end of our work. Working idea offer teacher, and we chose to build celebrity portraits. Glad to see that these works will be view in other countries. At week time I meat a very interesting young people, hereafter I try keep good relations with them. Young people from such different countries and cultures became my friends. Cultural diversity interested me and in future I hope I can discover they more and more. Alter Ego' project is a memorable experience and adventure of my life, which will make a good start in the future.

... About my work ...in my work I want to show two different world, two ways of life, two different visions of the world. It showed two men whose daily life, living, opportunities are sharply contrasted. The paper wanted to remind my peers that are in another world, with the daily constraints faced difficulties. I wanted to reiterate that we must assess the opportunities have free movement and have unlimited choice and be tolerant people with limited opportunities and achieve trust and understanding between different people, beliefs and values.

Alter Ego spojilo 44 kreativních začínajících umělců a poslalo nás tvořit do Løgumkloster v Dánsku. Jedním z workshopů byla hudba. Během týdne jsme secvičili tři převzaté skladby a jednu jsme společnými silami vytvořili. Každý si vyzkoušel hru na nástroje, které pro něj byly nové. Mým dosavadním zaměřením byl klasický a jazzový repertoár a v Løgumkloster jsem si vyzkoušela zpívat rockovou skladbu Seven nation army. Smyslem závěrečného koncertu i celé hudební složky nebylo zahrát vše do puntíku bez chyby, ale vše si náležitě užít, což se nám i povedlo.

Mimo hudebního workshopu jsem se účastnila i fotografického. Pod vedením dvou skvělých profesionálních fotografek jsem si vyzkoušela portrétní fotografii. V mé práci jsem se snažila zachytit výraz člověka v daný okamžik a mé fotografie jsem dále neupravovala. Na konci týdne byla ze všech našich prací vytvořena prezentace.

Projekt Alter Ego nám zprostředkoval nejen poznávání dánské kultury a míst, ale i jiné neopakovatelné zážitky. Z mnoha jednotlivců z různých zemí, mluvících rozdílnými jazyky se v Dánsku stali přátelé a jeden celek bez ohledu na věk nebo pohled na svět. Z tohoto týdne mi zůstala spousta přátel, úžasné vzpomínky a naděje, že i když pocházíme z různých koutů Evropy, ještě se uvidíme.

Alter Ego has conected 44 creative young  artists and sent us to Løgumkloster in Denmark. There was one music workshop of many others.. During the week we spent there we were learning three assumed songs and one which we composed ourselves. Each of us tried to play every music instrument that we had which was a great new experience for us. We also tried to change our style of playing. My genre of singing used to be classic or jazz, nevertheless in Denmark I tried singing a rock song Seven nation army. The sense of the final concert and also the whole music workshop activities wasn´t to play everything to the letter but to enjoy the music. And so we really enjoyed that.

Except the music workshop I took part also in the photography. With a help of two great proffesionals photographers I tried to make the portrait photography. In my work I was trying to catch the moment of the human face with emotions and I didn't correct my picture in photoshop. At the end of the week we had a final presentation of our work.

The project Alter Ego brought us not only to the culture of Denmark and places there, but also unrepeatable experiences. We came to Denmark as a 44 single individuals but we left as one group of friends no matter how old we were and what our view of life is. I have found a lot of friends and got  fantastic memories of this week. I hope that we´ll meet again even though we come from very different parts of Europe.

Life is art or art is the life?

Our class was invited to the opening of the Alter Ego project which took place in Budapest on the A38 ship. I first heard about this project there. My classmate, who is from Ukraine, and me made a short video film in which we presented the two countries. Our aim was to describe the differences and similarities on the basis of habits and culture of the countries. Because we are all similar, we are people!

The Danish trip was amazing. Not just the colorful company but the environment, the facilities and the great programs have made this week wonderful. The workshops were exciting and interesting. It was good to see so many talented young people at the same place. I was a bit envious of them because these really creative, open and free young artist could make unbelievable works in few days. And of course I was proud of myself being a member of this great team.

I chose to be in the music group. I really enjoyed playing all day. I learned so much not just techniques and new instruments but also the way how I should start to play, how I could  play together with others. The Thursday night concert was one of the best adventures of my life. It was my first concert but the amazing feeling which appeared in a few minutes was unforgettable.

Of course the other groups also had excellent performances on Thursday. The artists were really great. It was also exciting that anybody could join any other group’s work. So an occasional singer joined us and I was taught some good tricks on sightseeing photography by the photo team.

Maybe the most important thing I learned during that week was that cooperation and team-work could go properly together with self-expression and individuality. That neither in music nor in life it is not just the rules that count but I should always listen to the voice within and follow my own rules so that I could enjoy everything I do.

Euforia – tak można określić stan, w którym się znalazłam kiedy dowiedziałam się, że wygrałam warsztaty w Danii. Moje szczęście w dużej mierze wynikało ze świadomości, że w końcu będę mogła całkowicie poświęcić się wyłącznie temu, co tak naprawdę kocham – malowaniu. Nie mam bowiem możliwości rozwijania swoich zainteresowań codziennie. Szkoła, znajomi, obowiązki – to wszystko sprawia, że malowanie zostało w moim przypadku zepchnięte (brutalnie mówiąc) na drugi plan.

I kiedy w końcu znalazłam się w Danii, z tyloma świetnymi ludźmi z różnych części Europy i mogłam poświęcić się czemuś kreatywnemu: kiedy pędzlem tańczyłam w rytm muzyki, kiedy żartowałam z uczestnikami z innych państw o śmiesznych zwyczajach narodowych, kiedy próbowałam naśladować szwedzki język, kiedy uczyłam się od profesjonalistów…czułam się jak w niebie.

Ale również w owym „niebie” musiałam wykonać jakieś prace i dokonałam zadania: pierwsza praca przedstawia dwie maski uosabiające różne osobowości. W pierwszej pracy przedstawiającej maski chciałam tylko wyrazić to swój styl. Chociaż oczywiście maski posiadają również znaczenie symboliczne – alter ego (Drugie ja)

Druga praca przedstawia osobę samotną znajdującą się nad brzegiem jeziora. Przez tło obrazu przenika widok łzy, która może symbolizować smutek omawianej postaci.  Jednak warto zwrócić uwagę, że osoba nie szuka wsparcia w społeczeństwie, usiadła samotnie pod drzewem bo może  w ten sposób poczuje się lepiej – być może nie ma przyjaciół, bliskich, kogoś kto mógłby wyciągnąć do niej rękę… osoba „x” wybrała przyrodę.

Euphoria – That’s the word describing  my feeling after message that I won workshops in Denmark. I was on top of the world not only because of possibility of meeting with various cultures, but also thanks to the chance to making something, which I love so much - painting. On my ordinary days, unfortunately I have not got time to improve my hobbies: school, acquaintances, duties – everything that (in my case), unfortunately set painting on the second place.

And when I finally came to Denmark, when I could do something creative and amazing: when I was dancing with the brush, when I was joking with people from other countries about our funny national habits, when I was trying to imitate Swedish language,  when I could learn from professional people…I felt like in heaven.

And of course I made some works: The first work shows masks, which can be ‘alter ego’ every person. Making the masks I was trying to express my style.On the second one you can see the lonely person, which maybe has not got any friends, any person which can help in a difficult situation. The person has chosen a nature as the place, where she can forget about everything. If you attentively look at the picture, you will notice a big teardrop.

Mein Workshop war "visual Arts" mit dem Künstler Reiu Tuur aus Estland, der uns mit seiner Vorgehensweise bekannt machen wollte, aber gleichzeitig genug Raum für unsere Vorlieben gelassen hat. Reiu hat uns Holzplatten mit blauer Farbe anmalen lassen und uns daraus unsere Arbeit machen lassen. Eigentlich möchte ich, dass die Menschen sich selber eine Meinung zu meinen Arbeiten machen.

Ich kann aber dennoch meine Ideen kurz erläutern:
Meine erste Idee war eine simple Umsetzung eines etwas komplexeren Themas: die Burqa, hinter der sich mein "Alter Ego" befinden könnte. Das Blau erinnerte mich an das Blau der afghanischen Burqas die damals durch die Taliban für die Frauen verordnet worden sind.

Die zweite Arbeit ist ein sehr beschäftigter Geschäftsmann, der seine "Geschäft" verrichtet. Es ist mein "Alter Ego", dass ich garantiert nicht werden möchte... es kann aber auch als Kritik der westlichen Welt gesehen werden, die ich aber nicht weiter ausführen möchte. Ein Workshop, der für mich sehr bereichernd wirkte und es an guter Laune, (dem Wichtigsten in der einen uns gegebenen Woche) durch Reiu nicht gefehlt hat.

My workshop i participated was "visual Arts" with the artist Reiu Tuur from Estonia. He wanted us to present and introduce us his style, but nethertheless he gave us a lot of space to follow our preferences and style. We painted some wooden plates with blue paint and afterwards we were ready to do our artistic work. Actually I don't want to comment on my work because I would like the people to make up their own mind about my works.

But however I can explain it a little bit: My first idea was a very simple realisation of a complexe topic: the Burqa, where behind of that veil could be my "Alter Ego". The blue colour reminded me of the afghani burqas which once the woman were forced to wear by the Talibans.

My second work is a very busy businessman, who does his "work". It is my " Alter Ego" I really don't want to become... it can be also seen as criticism on the Occident but it is not my purpose to explain it.

It was workshop which enriched me a lot and there was no lack of good mood ( in this one very important week) thanks to Reiu!
